On the night of December 16th, 1773, the Brig Beaver, the Eleanor, and the Dartmouth lay moored at Griffin's Wharf. Their cargo holds still full of tea due the controversial Townshend Revenue Act (1767) which implemented a tax on tea, to be paid the moment the cargo was offloaded. It is aboard these three ships colonists quietly boarded and destroyed 340 crates of tea, totaling to nearly $1,700,00 in today's money.
Now, you can bring home your own figurine of either (or both) the Brig Beaver, or the Eleanor to remember the night that forever changed the course of American history!
