On December 16th 1773, three ships (the Brig Beaver, the Eleanor, and the Dartmouth) sat in Boston Harbor filled with East India Company tea that would be destroyed by the Sons of Liberty in what would become known as the Boston Tea Party.

This model is of the Eleanor, a trading vessel owned by wealthy merchant John Rowe. Docked at Griffin's Wharf, the Eleanor held 114 chests of tea that were destroyed the night of the Boston Tea Party.
