Robinson Half Chest Afternoon Tea Box

Regular price $16.99 Sale

On the night of December 16th, 1773, 340 chests of East India Company Tea were thrown into Boston Harbor in the act of protest that would become known as The Boston Tea Party.

This box contains 25 bags of Afternoon Tea, a black tea blend that is meant to be drank as part of an afternoon tea time. This box is decorated to look like the Robinson Half Chest, a half chest of tea thrown overboard into Boston Harbor during the Boston Tea Party. The Robinson Half Chest, the only surviving tea chest from the event in 1773, can be seen at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum.
